AdSense Invalid Clicks

After finally reaching (and exceeding) the minimum payout requirement for the Google AdSense services, guess what I just found in my inbox? An email telling me that they have banned by AdSense account!

I was in shock as I read the email. I totally wasn’t expecting this – I was expecting a paycheck! I think it took me almost two years to earn $100.00 and they just banned my account for “invalid clicks” without any sort of warning.

Now I don’t know what they mean when they say invalid clicks. I don’t have too many visitors on my blog and I make it a point not to click on my own ads as well. Of course, I have some friends who frequent my blog and hey, I can’t blame them if they find the ads useful and click them, right? Is that considered as an invalid click?

This is insane! It might have been understandable if they paid me my $100.00 first before they banned me. I can’t help it but feel cheated. Nice work, Google.
